Personal Profile
During his postgraduate training on the Guy’s and St Thomas’ rotation, he was awarded funding to pursue research in his early interest in knee surgery at Imperial College London.
Teaching and Research
He has lectured at national and international levels and has been instrumental in establishing cartilage; multi-ligament, minimally invasive, computer-assisted and patient-matched surgical techniques regionally. He won a prestigious award for minimally invasive surgery to the knee and offers training to his consultant colleagues.
Current Practice
He has a well-established private orthopaedic knee practice and receives tertiary level referrals.
The National Joint Registry independently demonstrates his outcomes for primary knee arthroplasty to be in the top 0.2% of the UK for the last 10 years. Mr Hassan prides himself on his exceptionally good patient outcomes.
