These issues are common in children which is a large area of her practice. Adults affected by these conditions are also managed so that all ages can be catered for under her care. Miss Hunt manages both children and adults in her practice. General ENT conditions are also treated. Miss Hunt received her BSc in Immunology and Medical degree at Guy’s Kings and St Thomas’ in London, before pursuing a career in ENT. Her senior training was at the John Radcliffe University Teaching Hospital in Oxford, where she gained experience in paediatric ENT.
She received a senior fellowship in otology in the Oxford deanery, gaining experience in a wide range of mastoid and middle ear surgery such as ossiculoplasty, stapes surgery, mastoid and middle ear surgery as well as cochlear implantation, all under the guidance of internationally renowned otologists. Academically, Miss Hunt is a keen teacher and has taught anatomy of the head and neck to both medical students and doctors at Oxford University, she has also been invited to teach at national training courses for final FRCS examinations in ENT. In June 2017 Miss Hunt became the Lead for Special Senses at The University of Buckingham Medical School where she is responsible for writing up the syllabus and heading up the teaching for ENT.
In 2016 Miss Hunt was also invited to chair a Mastoid Surgery meeting at the 10th International Conference on Cholesteatoma and Ear Surgery held in Edinburgh.
Miss Hunt has written book chapters for ENT doctors and is currently in the process of writing the ossiculoplasty chapter for Scotts Brown, a major reference text for ENT surgeons.
