Athanassius Tadros is a Consultant Ophthalmologist Surgeon, with his practice focusing on cataract surgery at The Winterbourne Hospital.
Mr Tadros is an international member of AAO (American Academy of Ophthalmology). He is comprehensively trained in all aspects of Ophthalmology to a very high level, and is currently concentrating on cataract surgery only. He has been the cataract lead at West Dorset for 15 years, with over 25,000 cataracts procedures. Mr Tadros provides quality cataract surgery and correction of astigmatism with a 0% infection rate at The Winterbourne Hospital, The Harbour Hospital and Dorset County Hospital.
Mr Tadros is a Senior Examiner at the Royal College of Ophthalmologists UK, and although he had comprehensive training in all parts of Ophthalmology in the UK and Australia, holding fellowships from both countries, however Mr Tadros is restricting his practice at present for his sub-specialty of cataract surgery and related problems. Mr Tadros appreciates if you would refer to his other colleagues for other sub-specialties, such as glaucoma and medical retina.
