Miss Patil is a Consultant Gynaecologist and Obstetrician at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, working primarily at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Aylesbury.
She has special interests in Urogynaecology (urinary incontinence, urodynamics and pelvic organ prolapse) as well as post-partum perineal problems. Following her appoinment as a consultant Urogynaecologist, she continued to develop her special interest in Urogynaecology keeping “patient centered satisfaction goals” as a mainstay of her practice. She established a dedicated Perineal Clinic at Stoke Mandeville and Wycombe General Hospital, which has achieved excellent patient satisfaction feedback. Miss Patil had been actively involved in developing a Pelvic Floor Multidisciplinary Team Meeting within the Trust, as she strongly believes that this approach not only delivers excellent patient centred care, but also provides opportunities for training, teaching and research.
Miss Patil completed her Gynaecology training in London Deanery. She completed her Advanced Training Skills in Urogynaecology with Professor Linda Cardozo at Kings College Hospital, London.
Miss Patil has achieved research fellowship in Urogynaecology under the supervison of Professor Jonathan Duckett at Medway NHS Foundation Trust, Kent. She was involved in various research projects and publications and presents her work in national and international medical conferences.
Miss Patil has a wide range of expertise in General Gynaecology providing high quality care to women with general gynaecological conditions,including menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, endometriosis, contraception and menopause.
