He then was appointed as Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic surgeon at Heatherwood and Wexham Park Hospitals in 2004, now part of Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust.
He now has a busy NHS and private practice, specialising in all forms of surgery of the foot and ankle. He is the regional total ankle replacement surgeon for the Frimley Health integrated care system and has a range of other clinical interests.
He has published several research papers on aspects of foot and ankle surgery and has been invited speaker at many local, national and international meetings on a range of related topics. Callum is also heavily involved in the education of the next generation of foot and ankle surgeons and co-founded the nationally recognised Windsor Foot & Ankle Fellowship, which attracts applicants from all over the world and has run since 2007. Since 2013 he has been a member and is currently the Chair of the Education Committee of the British Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (BOFAS).
He has held several other leadership positions, including Chairman of the Local Negotiating Committee at Wexham Park Hospital, Council member of the national Hospital Consultants and Specialists Association (HCSA), Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee at The Princess Margaret Hospital and in 2018 Deputy Chief of Service for Orthopaedic and Plastic surgery at Frimley Health NHS Trust. He is currently Clinical lead for Foot & Ankle surgery in Frimley Health NHS Trust.
In 2007 he co-founded the Windsor Foot & Ankle Clinic and in 2014 he joined the Fortius Clinic, an internationally renowned private MSK clinic in central London. Most of his private practice is undertaken at The Princess Margaret Hospital, Windsor.
