Mr Rose is a Consultant Cardiac Surgeon. Graduated cum laude in Medicine in 2008 at the University of Roma La Sapienza, Italy, with an experimental thesis in Stem cell and tissue engineering for heart diseases.
Mr Rose started his training in Cardiac surgery, following a competitive admission, in 2009 at the University of Rome Sapienza. During his training he was awarded a clinical fellowship in minimally invasive surgery. During the fellowship he gained experience in complex cardiac and minimal access surgery, which has paved the way for his current practice.
In September 2015 was successful in obtaining a placement in a 3-year Doctoral course (PhD Angio-Cardio-Thoracic Pathophysiology and Imaging) at the University Sapienza of Rome, completed in January 2019.
Mr Rose has interested in minimally invasive valve surgery and along with dedicated fellowship he spent a period at The Texas Medical Centre in Houston Texas with Dr Joseph Lamelas a pioneer in the most advanced forms of minimally invasive cardiac surgery.
He was appointed as Consultant Cardiac Surgeon in Blackpool Victoria Hospital in 2017.
