Hosaam Nasr is an experienced Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon based in Droitwich.
Mr Nasr is an expert in the walk-in/walk-out management of varicose veins and thread veins. He provides his patients with personalised and professional care. He offers a range of treatment for varicose veins including foam sclerotherapy, radiofrequency ablation and microsclerotherapy for thread veins.
Mr Nasr went to medical school in Liverpool. He completed vascular training in the West Midlands, focusing on minimally invasive keyhole interventions in vascular surgery. He was awarded prestigious fellowships from the British Society of Endovascular Therapy and the Royal College of Surgeons, and a doctorate in vascular research from the University of London.
Mr Nasr was appointed as a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon at University Hospitals Birmingham in 2016. Since his appointment, he has become the Audit lead and lead on the introduction of endovascular intervention for deep venous disease in his unit. Hosaam is very keen on education and has organised simulation training sessions in minimally invasive vascular surgery.
