His interests include skin surgery and skin cancer. He was instrumental in setting up the skin cancer multidisciplinary team, served as the first chair of the MDT and is the skin cancer lead for the University Hospital. He has published widely in several journals and written book chapters. He is actively involved in teaching, training and examining medical students, junior doctors, registrars, general practitioners and nurses. He has established and runs a national surgical training workshop for new dermatology specialist registrars at the West Midlands Surgical training centre in Coventry.
He is very enthusiastic about providing the best possible care to patients under his care and ensuring an excellent level of training for future doctors and dermatologists. Away from work he enjoys meditation, DIY and spending time with his family.
