Personal Profile
After qualifying from the Royal Free and University College Medical School (London) in 2001, Dr Chandra completed his initial postgraduate training at the Royal Berkshire and Battle Hospitals, gaining experience in a variety of medical specialities.
From 2005 to 2010, he undertook specialist training in both gastroenterology and general medicine in the Oxford region. Following this, he was awarded the prestigious Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship at the internationally-renowned Wolfson Unit for Endoscopy at St. Mark's Hospital, London.
In 2011, he returned to the Royal Berkshire Hospital when he was appointed as Consultant Gastroenterologist and General Physician. Dr Chandra has a specialist clinical interest in therapeutic endoscopy and is the Training Lead for Endoscopy at the Trust.
Nish shares a keen interest in travelling and photography with his wife. He enjoys sport (particularly football and cricket), music and has recently taken up skiing.
