Training and appointment:
Mr Sinha completed his CCT in Cardiothoracic Surgery in 2012 from Rigs Hospital, Copenhagen, Denmark. He subsequently did fellowships in mini-mitral surgery from Sheffield University Hospital and advanced post CCT clinical fellowship at Toronto General Hospital in Canada. He also did an advanced travelling fellowship to Saint-Luc Hospital at Brussels. He has worked in several countries including India, Denmark, Norway, Canada, Belgium and United Kingdom.
Current Practice
He is currently working as consultant in cardiac surgery at Cardiac Surgery Unit of Glenfield Hospital, University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. He is the lead clinician for complex mitral and tricuspid valve diseases. He also leads the high-risk MDT. His areas of expertise include coronary artery bypass surgery including total arterial grafts, mitral and tricuspid valve repair/replacement and aortic valve replacement. He also offers AF surgery as a concomitant procedure.
