Miss Suzanna Hutt is a Consultant Gynaecologist and Gynae-oncology unit lead at Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, with over 10 years’ experience in the field.
She offers treatments in general gynaecology and has a particular interest in minimal access surgery, rapid access gynaecology, gynae-oncology, pelvic ultrasound, and colposcopy. She offers one-stop services for abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic pain and assessment of pelvic masses.
Training and Appointment
Suzi Hutt qualified from First Faculty of Medicine, Charles’ University, Prague in 2010 and subsequently completed her broad Foundation postgraduate training in North England and then Obstetrics & Gynaecology training within Kent, Sussex and Surrey hospitals.
She obtained Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) membership in 2016 and has completed a Clinical Research Fellowship in Gynaecological Oncology, including robotic surgery. She has completed Advanced Training modules in Benign Gynaecological Surgery and Advanced Labour Ward Practice.
Research and Publications
Suzi has spent a significant amount of time in research, focussing on endometrial cancer and she ensures that her medical care is up to date with the very latest evidence. She has published widely in international medical journals.
Current Practice
Suzi Hutt’s main clinical interest is in gynaecological oncology and fast-track diagnostic services, as well as general gynaecological problems. She can offer gynaecological surgical procedures such as hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, open and laparoscopic hysterectomy, treatment for fibroids, removal of ovarian cysts, treatment of endometriosis and pelvic adhesions, endometrial ablation, vulval procedures and primary pelvic floor repair. Having trained in minimal access and open gynaecological surgery, including treatment of gynaecological cancers, Miss Hutt also offers advanced laparoscopic surgery for early-stage endometrial cancers and ovarian cysts.
In addition, Suzi can advise and treat endometriosis, pelvic pain, heavy periods and fibroids. As a British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP) accredited colposcopist, she offers outpatient and day case colposcopic assessments as well as treatments for cervical abnormalities.
