Personal Profile
She has led and developed the endocrine unit at Salford since 2005, such that this is now a major Endocrine unit of national acclaim, providing care locally, regionally and for some services nationally. She holds national roles within the Society of Endocrinology and other affiliated organisations. She chairs the Regional Pituitary Multidisciplinary meeting (MDT), the North West Endocrine Society, co-chairs the Complex endocrine and Adrenal MDT and is a member of the regional paraganglioma MDT.
She continues to train registrars in complex endocrinology, has an active research portfolio studying a wide range of endocrine conditions and enjoys her national role in supporting people with complex endocrine conditions by developing information leaflets, setting up support groups and signposting people to get better care.
