Mr Fischer was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Macclesfield District General Hospital in 2008 after training in Orthopaedics in Germany, Tameside, Stockport and Merseyside. Specialist Trauma Fellowship in Johannesburg/South Africa. Upper Limb and Hand surgery Fellowships in Wrightington, Derby and Indianapolis.
Research in various fields of Orthopaedics & Trauma with a number of peer reviewed journal publications, abstracts and national & international presentations. He performs a wide range of operations including arthroscopies, joint replacements and fixation of fractures for a variety of problems affecting shoulder, elbow wrist and hand.
