Mr Kesava Mannur is director of bariatric surgery and a consultant upper GI surgeon at the Homerton University Hospital and Royal London Hospital, London. He has more than 14 years experience in Obesity surgery. Having performed considerable number of weight loss surgeries since 1998, he trained a lot of surgeons in this field both in the UK and abroad. He has a number of publications in peer reviewed journals. He works closely with psychologists, eating disorder specialists, dietitians and metabolic physicians to provide an optimum care for obese patients. He has performed more than 2,500 weight loss surgeries including 1250 gastric bypasses and 670 sleeve gastrectomies.
Mr Mannur regularly conducts National Bariatric surgery Training courses and International Bariatric Surgery Symposiums at the Homerton University Hospital, London. He regularly presents his work at International and national Obesity conferences.
Mr Mannur trained at University Hospital of Wales, Lister Hospital, Royal London Hospital and the Middlesex Hospital and is currently a Consultant Surgeon at BMI The London Independent Hospital.
