Dominic Dodd is a specialist vascular surgeon. Since 2002, he has worked as a Consultant in Sheffield. He has extensive experience in the treatment of patients with arterial and venous disease. He pioneered the use of minimally invasive treatment of varicose veins in Sheffield and has performed over 600 endovenous laser (EVLT) procedures in the last four years.
His other interests include the management of patients with abdominal aortic aneurysm, carotid artery disease (for stroke prevention), and claudication. He offers thorascopic sympathectomy, a keyhole-surgical treatment for facial flushing/blushing and excessive sweating of the hands or armpits (palmar/axillary hyperhidrosis).
