Dr Bowling is a general gastroenterologist, but with a particular interest in:
Dyspepsia and reflux (indigestion)
Altered bowel habit

British Association for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (BAPEN)
Consultant since 1996 (in Nottingham from 2003). Dr Bowling provides a comrehensive service for medical gastroenterology, except liver disease. He performs diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopy and colonoscopy.
Sub-specialty interest in (under) nutrition. Run an NHS regional referral unit for complex nutritional/intestinal failure (medical and surgical) at the Nottingham University Hospitals. Very happy to see private patients with complex needs. Please note I do not see Children (14 or under).
Dr Bowling is currently the national Chairman of BAPEN and a respected authority in clinical nutrition.
