BMI Healthcare works with consultants with recognised credentials and experience in their respective specialties. Consultants wishing to be granted Admitting Privileges to any BMI Healthcare hospital are required to provide information on their specific credentials for review by the hospital's Medical Advisory Committee. Executive hospital directors are directly responsible for ensuring that these credentials are validated and that each consultant:
- Maintains appropriate registration with the General Medical Council
- Is listed on the Specialist Register demonstrating attainment of the appropriate training and experience
