BMI Fitzroy Square Hospital (formerly St Luke’s Hospital) was acquired by BMI Healthcare in April 2009, the latest of a string of acquisitions in Central London.
The accommodation and facilities are at an exemplary standard following a £3.7 million refurbishment programme in 2007. The hospital offers 17 in-patient beds, 5 consulting rooms, an operating theatre and a treatment room.
Consultations for a wide number of specialties are available at the hospital. Facilities to treat patients as a result of consultation may be offered to patients at BMI Fitzroy Square Hospital. Some patients may however be referred to our sister hospital BMI The London independent Hospital which has intensive care and high dependency units as well as facilities for complex imaging and cardiac procedures.
The hospital is the main private hospital for a number of consultants who work in the local NHS at the Royal London & Bartholomew, Charing Cross, Chelsea & Westminster, UCH & Royal Free NHS Trusts.
BMI Fitzroy Square Hospital is continually seeking new ways of reviewing and measuring its quality, & seeking specialised accreditation where appropriate. We continually monitor patient satisfaction in all areas of service delivery and a Hospital Medical Advisory Committee oversees the clinical governance of the hospital.
