The Birmingham Liver Clinic comprises of Consultant Hepatologists, Dennis Freshwater and Andrew Holt both of whom are from The Liver Transplant Unit in Birmingham.
At your first appointment the consultant will undertake a full clinical assessment and arrange the most appropriate investigations. He may recommend follow-up either with himself or with a different Consultant within the group, depending on who is the most suitable to offer treatment.
