Not everyone requires high dependency care. However, it is available if you require either frequent or close monitoring following routine major surgery. The hospital's four bed High Dependency Unit is staffed by highly trained specialist nurses and the nurse to patient ratio is no more than one nurse to two patients. Full 24 hour monitoring is available, backed by the services of a Resident Medical Officer. The unit is especially equipped with monitoring equipment and all the essential technology for nursing patients who require this level of support.
