Dr Colin Bernstein

Dr Bernstein is a general Paediatrician with a special interest in Paediatric allergy.  His undergraduate medical training (MBCHB) was done in Cape Town, South Africa and he then subsequently completed his Paediatric training (MRCP, MRCPCH) in London.  Along the way Dr Bernstein spent a fellowship year in Sydney Children's Hospital, Australia, gaining further experience.

Dr Bernstein is happy to see children from birth onwards at his private practice where he deals with a wide range of medical concerns including:

• Allergy
• Constipation & Diarrhoea
• Growth and feeding concerns
• Headaches
• Reflux
• Urine infections
• Asthma & wheeze
• Eczema and other skin concerns
• Fits, faints and funny turns
• Recurrent infections
• Abdominal pain
• Unusual gaits

Dr Bernstein is also able to provide a general check-up or ‘MOT’ if you have any concerns regarding your child’s health and would simply like peace of mind.

Dr Bernstein a member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH), the Association of Paediatric Emergency Medicine (APEM) and the British Society for Allergy and Clinical Immunology (BSACI).

His consultations are child centred, arranged on an appointment basis. However he is happy to see patients on an emergency basis if required. Dr Bernstein's consultations are conducted in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

Dr Bernstein has two young daughters to keep him on his toes. In his spare time he enjoys swimming, cycling, motor bikes and cooking up a storm.
