Personal Profile
Mr Michael Booker qualified as a doctor in 1978 and works in Croydon, Surrey as a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist at Shirley Oaks Hospital (private practice). He works closely with London Women’s Clinic (LWC). His medical practice falls into three main areas:
- Fertility Treatment
- Early Pregnancy Care
- General Gynaecology
Mr Booker is involved with the teaching and training of junior doctors, medical students and also undertake medico-legal report writing. He is an approved Special Skills Trainer with the RCOG for transvaginal ultrasound and assisted conception, and has been closely involved with the investigation and treatment of infertility for more than 30 years. His involvement with in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) dates from that time, with the last 30 years or so seeing significant developments.
His outside interests are varied and include jazz music, water-based activities and cooking for family and friends.
