Personal Profile

Mrs Coull graduated from University College, London in 1998. After being awarded her Master of Surgery degree for research into prostate cancer immunotherapy, Mrs Coull undertook her higher specialist training in urology on the South Thames rotation of the London Deanery.

During this time, she developed a strong background in core urology, including the management of general urology and of common urological malignancies. In her latter years as a trainee, she spent two years undergoing subspecialist training in female urology, including practical urodynamics, and the outpatient and operative management of both urinary incontinence and vaginal prolapse. In addition, she spent a year in the Stone Unit at Guy's Hospital, training solely in the management of stone disease.

She is also an experienced teacher, being on the faculty of both the Advanced Trauma Life Support Provider and Instructor courses run by the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Her professional interests include all general urological conditions, particularly the treatment of urinary symptoms both in men and women, and performing surgery in these conditions, including prostate surgery for men, and minimally invasive tapes (TVT, TOT) for women.

She is now the only female Consultant Urological Surgeon in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.
