Mr Rupert Beck qualified as a doctor from Guys Hospital, London in 1986. He trained as a Urologist in London, Edinburgh and Nottingham before being appointed as a Consultant Urological Surgeon in Swindon in 1998. He passed the specialist FRCS(Urol) examination in 1997.

He is lead clinician for urological cancer in Swindon and works very closely with teams from Bristol and Oxford so that patients receive the best possible and most highly advanced treatment for their cancer that is currently available.

He has a specialist interest in andrology which involves the assessment and treatment of male sexual health and fertility issues –including microscopic vasectomy reversals. He also works as a Consultant Urologist at Southmead Hospital in Bristol running the andrology service there.

Mr Beck treats all types of urological conditions and has a wide experience in endoscopic urology – including TURP, TURBT, ureteroscopy, flexible ureterorenoscopy, flexible cystoscopy as well as in open surgery such as nephrectomy, circumcision, hydrocele and epididymal cyst operations.
