After his medical graduation in 1992 Dr Joglekar specialised in general adult psychiatry. Following his MD in Bombay he worked as a Lecturer and subsequently entered private practice as a consultant psychiatrist before seeking further training in UK in 2001. After completing his membership exams with the Royal College of Psychiatrists, London, Dr Joglekar trained in Child & Adolescent Mental Health. He has worked as an NHS Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist in the CAMHS since 2007. Dr Joglekar led and established a Trust Award-winning Adolescent Service in Hammersmith & Fulham. After having worked full-time in west London he was the medical lead for an Eating Disorder Service in one of the home counties for over 4 years, helping the Trust establish a county-wide Eating Disorder Service for adolescents. 

Dr Joglekar offers expertise in assessment and treatment of ADHD, psychosis, mood and anxiety disorders as well as eating disorders amongst other conditions in young people. He uses pragmatic talking treatments such as cognitive behaviour therapy, motivational interviewing, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy skills among other approaches with medication as appropriate. In his private work, Dr Joglekar has established an efficient ADHD assessment service. This includes the use of standardised questionnaires and over the past 18 months, he has been able to offer the computerised continuous performance test i.e. QB Check for ADHD remotely as well. Given his experience and training in Adult Psychiatry allows Dr Joglekar to provide seamless continuity of care when adolescents turn 18, he will often oversee patient care and undertake assessments for not just children, adolescents but also young adults up to age 25. 

Dr Joglekar in line with the General Medical Council undertakes anonymised feedback arranged independently by the Royal College of Psychiatrists. Working in Bombay and over last 20 years in London, two buzzing cosmopolitan cities, has allowed Dr Joglekar to train and work in a variety of cross cultural contexts. He is multi-lingual and fluent in English, Hindi and Marathi. He is also quite familiar with Gujarati.
