Dr Adrian Fowle studied undergraduate medicine and physiology at St Thomas Hospital, London. He trained in medicine, geriatrics and neurology throughout SE London – St Thomas, Croydon, Greenwich, Bromley and then became a senior registrar in clinical neurophysiology at Kings. He has extensive experience of medical IT and instrumentation.
As consultant he founded and lead the West Surrey Clinical Neurophysiology Department at St Peter's Hospital, Chertsey and he also works at the Atkinson Morley Regional Neuroscience Centre at St Georges Hospital, Tooting.
In his clinical practice he tries to combine the patient care skills which he has learnt from the best consultants with a robust approach to diagnostic work.
Outside the clinic he supports the small specialty of clinical neurophysiology. He has held a number of local, regional and national roles in education, clinical governance, management. He runs a website for the UK's Clinical Neurophysiology staff.
