Dr Moss is a Medical Oncologist who sees patients at BMI Goring Hall Hospital who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. He prescribes chemotherapy and other supporting therapies.
He joined the Sussex Cancer Centre in May 2014. His specialist training was based at Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, Merseyside. A study titled “Novel transcripts in small cell lung cancer and their potential as markers of micrometastasis and novel therapies” was the focus of his two-year full-time MD research project, supervised by Dr Neil Blake, Dr Judy Coulson, and Dr Ernie Marshall.
Dr Moss became a Consultant in 2008 at Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, treating lung, breast, upper and lower Gastrointestinal cancers. Dr Moss was also a member of the acute Oncology and carcinoma of unknown primary teams.
Dr Moss is part of the breast cancer team at Worthing hospital, and is the clinical lead for acute oncology there. Patients receive their treatment at the medical day care unit at Worthing hospital. At Worthing there is a dedicated Medical Day care Unit (MDCU) for chemotherapy patients and the £6.5 million Breast Unit, from which West Sussex Breast Screening service is run.
