Mr Ahmed Hamouda

Personal profile

Mr Ahmed Hamouda graduated from Ain Shams University Medical University with Highest Honours. Following selection to an internship within the University he gained a Masters in Surgery and a Doctorate Degree by Thesis.

Having also become a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, he spent a period of professional training in the UK and was awarded two fellowships. The first was a laparoscopic gall stone surgery fellowship and the second fellowship was laparoscopic key hole weight loss surgery.
He has a son and daughter with his wife Nora.

  • Weight loss surgery, including band, bypass and sleeve gastrectomy. A comprehensive individualised service is offered, whereby the best option suitable is discussed in light of the medical history and BMI

  • Gall stone disease, including conditions such as dyskinesia, gall stone pancreatitis, jaundice or cholangitis. Key hole surgery offered for all presentations of gall stone disease including exploration of the bile duct through key hole.

  • Reflux disease and treatment for patients failing medical therapy with key hole wrap operations.

  • Stomach and gullet cancers
