I practise acupuncture as part of the practice of medicine. My interest is the integration of complementary therapies into mainstream medicine. I have been practising acupuncture since 1976. I was a founder member and past chairman of the British Medical Acupuncture Society.
I have been involved in teaching acupuncture to doctors and am on the editorial board of the British Medical Acupuncture Society Journal. I have run the NHS Acupuncture Clinic at Chase Farm Hospital for 15 years. My main interest is musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction as well as more general acupuncture.
