Personal Profile
Since 2013 Mr Amit has worked largely in spinal work, however, his range of specialties includes, but is not limited to, orthopaedic surgery, pain management, neurosurgery, and neurology.
Mr Amit began his training in neurosurgery and spinal surgery in India, and then moved to London where he trained at the Royal Free Hospital. After this, he continued his neurosurgical and spinal training in Frenchay Hospital in Bristol and completed his training in Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast. After his studies in the UK, he completed a two-year clinical fellowship in Ohio.
Once his studies were completed, he returned to the UK and gained experience in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire. Currently, he works at the Central England Neurosurgery clinic and also practices at Three Shires Hospital in Northampton, and The Meriden Hospital, situated in Coventry.
Mr Amit is a member of the British Association of Spine Surgeons (BASS), Eurospine and the Symposium of British Neurosurgeons. He has dedicated many years to researching spinal disorders and spinal surgery.
