Personal Profile

Mr Anastasios Giamouriadis is a Consultant Neurosurgeon at NHS Grampian, Honourary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Aberdeen University and the Lead Minimally Invasive, Skull Base and Pituitary Surgeon for the North of Scotland Brain and Spine Centre. Over the last 10 years he practiced in London and New York and specialising in minimally invasive brain, spine and peripheral nerve surgery.

He holds an extensive portfolio in academia, research and training and he is the main author of one of the most published neurosurgical handbooks globally. He gives lectures and runs courses routinely on a national and international level and he is a peer reviewer for The British Journal of Neurosurgery. 

He has extensive clinical and surgical experience with over 2000 neurosurgical procedures and numerous publications and presentations. His expertise in minimally invasive keyhole surgery combines maximum efficiency and safety, providing at the same time fantastic cosmetic results, minimum inpatient stay and fast recovery.

Neck and Back Pain
