Personal profile

Dr Andrew Douds qualified at St Thomas’s Hospital, London in 1986. He obtained his MRCP while working in various London hospitals. He began his gastroenterology specialist training as a registrar at St George’s Hospital London in 1991 where he also completed his research and MD higher degree. He completed his training in the Birmingham teaching hospitals before becoming a consultant at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn in1998.

He is currently lead clinician for gastroenterology/ endoscopy in King’s Lynn. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London and Regional Adviser for the Eastern region. He is a member of the British society of gastroenterology and serves on a number of their committees. He has been East Anglian representative of the society.

Dr Douds is a member of the advisory committee of The Sandringham hospital and has extensive experience in treating a wide range of gastroenterological disorders. He is an expert endoscopist / colonoscopist.
