Miss Anjana Singh

Personal profile

Miss Singh was appointed as a Consultant Surgeon with special interest in Laparoscopic and Gastrointestinal surgery at Milton Keynes Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in August 2008.

She qualified from Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospitals, London with Honours in Surgery and Pathology in 1995.

She received her surgical training in the North East Thames London training rotations, which included The Royal London Hospital and Colchester University Foundation NHS Trust. At Colchester Hospital, which is a national training centre for laparoscopic surgery, Miss Singh received formal training in laparoscopic colorectal surgery. Recently, she has also been on a travelling fellowship to USA to visit and learn from centres of excellence such as the Mayo Clinic and Cleveland Clinic.

Miss Singh has special interest in surgery for gall bladder disease, abdominal wall hernias including inguinal and incisional hernias and all colorectal disease especially inflammatory bowel disease, cancers and anal conditions such as treatment of haemorrhoids. She also performs upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy.
