His main specialist interests are knee replacements (partial and total) and hip replacements (primary, complex and revision).
He has been performing over 100 joint replacements every year since 2017. His surgical data is available to view on the National Joint Registry.
Mr Razak earned his medical degree (MBChB) with honours from the University of Manchester, followed by surgical training in the North West. He then completed a fellowship in Primary and Revision Hip Replacements in Norwich before being appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Fairfield General Hospital (Bury) and North Manchester General Hospital in 2018.
He is a surgical trainer and has roles as Educational and Clinical Supervisor for orthopaedic doctors. He has published papers and presented in national and international meetings and is a member of British Hip Society and British Medical Association.
