Personal Profile
Mr Arijit Mukherjee graduated from the University of Calcutta, India in 1986 and acquired his basic and higher surgical training in Ireland, the West of Scotland and in the South East Thames rotation (London Deanery). He subsequently undertook a Clinical Research fellowship in the Colorectal and Pseudomyxoma Peritonei Unit at North Hampshire Hospital, Basingstoke.
He had been the Colorectal Lead for NHS Lanarkshire and Training lead for the Endoscopy unit at Hairmyres Hospital. Arijit is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education and higher surgical training in West of Scotland. He is an examiner for MRCS of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and Intercollegiate Speciality Board (FRCS).
