Dr Ashish Dhawan trained in the North Western deanery as Specialist Registrar in Cardiology. He rotated across different hospitals in the region including South Manchester University Hospital (Wythenshawe), Central Manchester University Hospitals (Manchester Royal Infirmary) and Blackpool Victoria Hospital to complete his general cardiology training and subspecialty training in interventional cardiac electrophysiology and devices.
Dr Dhawan’s areas of specialist interest are cardiac arrhythmia and device therapy. He routinely performs interventional electrophysiology procedures and implant biventricular pacing and intra-cardiac defibrillators.
He is also a keen teacher who is dedicated to the education and training of junior doctors.
