Bashar Zeidan completed his surgical training in Wessex. He worked with world-renowned breast and plastic surgeons and was awarded a PhD from the University of Southampton (2013) for his research focussing on breast cancer.
He worked as a Clinical Lecturer in Surgery at the University of Southampton between 2013-2017. Mr Zeidan subsequently undertook a National TIG Breast Oncoplastic Fellowship before qualifying as an Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon.
He joined the University of Southampton NHS Foundation Trust as an Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon in 2018.
Mr Zeidan is experienced in the management of all aspects of breast disease, and is particularly interested in the restoration of shape and reconstruction following breast cancer surgery and breast cosmesis.
His practice offers advanced breast conservation techniques including partial breast reconstruction using therapeutic mammoplasties, local perforator and mini latissimus dorsi flaps.
He also specialises in a wide range of whole breast reconstruction by means of implant-based, autologous and hybrid techniques.
