Personal profile


After gaining a Membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 1999, Dr LeBon underwent specialist training in palliative medicine at UCL/Middlesex and Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospitals in London and in the  specialist palliative care units in Surrey. During that period she also gained a Master of Science degree from King’s College London which included a research project exploring the role of topical administration of opioids in malignant wounds.

Dr LeBon is now the clinical lead of the Department of Palliative Care at Frimley Park Hospital. She also works at the Beacon Service in Guildford – a community-based unit providing specialist palliative care for patients in local community settings.

Dr LeBon’s main area of expertise is pain and other symptom control, management of cancer complications and side effects of treatment and facilitation of the transition to palliative care. She is available for consultations, inpatient care and domiciliary assessments.
