Personal profile

Mr Brooke was appointed Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust in 2014. He undertook his medical training at Edinburgh University, completing his basic surgical training in the North East before moving to back to Yorkshire to complete his specialist Orthopaedic training.

He undertook a fellowship in Hip and Knee surgery, gaining skills and experience in all aspects of hip and knee replacement including revision and complex hip surgery.

Originally form Huddersfield, Mr Brooke always wanted to move back to the area to provide care to his local community. As well as maintaining his own practice, he is committed to education and teaches on the Royal College of England courses as a faculty member.

Clinical interests

  • Total hip replacement with an interest in primary, complex and revision surgery
  • Knee surgery including total knee replacement and soft tissue injuries requiring key hole surgery
  • Specialising in enhanced recovery pathway for day case knee and hip replacements
