Mr Billy Jowett trained at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Medical School, graduating in 1996. He subsequently worked in the accident and emergency unit at the hospital and taught anatomy at the medical school.
Following this he undertook basic surgical and advanced orthopaedic training in the Wessex region. In 2005 he was a Trauma Fellow in Seattle, USA. He then completed his training during 2006-7 with foot and ankle fellowships in Aukland, New Zealand and Melbourne, Australia for which he was awarded an HCA International Travelling Scholarship.
Mr Jowett was appointed Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with an interest in foot and ankle surgery at Portsmouth Hospital NHS Trust in 2008.
