Personal Profile
Dr Caroline Morgan qualified from Southampton Medical School in 1994. After Junior Hospital Posts in Portsmouth, Southampton, Bournemouth and Poole, she undertook a 2 year period of research into the absorption of drugs through the skin. This resulted in the award of Doctorate of Medicine in 2001 (DM) . She then joined the Wessex Dermatology Registrar Training Programme.
In 2006 she was appointed as a Consultant Dermatologist to Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Before taking up the post she spent a year in Perth, Australia specialising in Skin cancer and Dermatological Surgery.
She has written a number of papers and presented research at scientific meetings including The British Association of Dermatologists, The European Society of Dermatological Research and The British Society of Investigative Dermatology – winning a number of awards.
She treats all aspects of dermatology including the management of skin cancer.
