Mr Gallegos is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at BMI Bath Clinic, with a particular interest in vasectomy reversal, urinary tract stone disease and core urology.
He has been treating private patients at Bath Clinic since 1994, supported by his secretary Carole Andrews.
Mr Gallegos endeavours to offer a personal service while ensuring continuity of care, guiding patients through the private healthcare system, whether they are insured or self funding. A member of The Bath Urologists Group, he operates through a shared office which allows prompt cross referral when required due to sub-speciality interests.
Mr Gallegos is also the only urologist in Bath to offer a vasectomy reversal service. This has seen great uptake from the local population as well as those travelling from further afield to benefit from his specialism. The success rates are available on the Bath Clinic website.
He undertook a post fellowship training in urology at Northampton General Hospital and then Frimley Park Hospital before taking the post of Urology Registrar at St Thomas’ Hospital London in 1989.
Mr Gallegos then spent two years as Research Registrar in Urology and Physiology St Thomas’ Hospital and gained his Master’s degree at the University of London 1993.
Mr Gallegos’ more recent training and qualifications as a Urology Consultant include: Senior Urological Registrar South West Rotation 1993; Consultant Urologist Royal United Hospital Bath 1994; Chair of Division of Surgery 2006 to 2011.
