Personal Profile

Mr Rajan did his undergraduate education at the Christian Medical College Hospital Vellore, India and thereafter Higher Surgical Training in Trauma & Orthopaedics at various hospitals in the East Anglia Deanery, UK.

He completed a Foot and Ankle fellowship at Florida, USA with Dr Sanders, renown for Trauma and Foot & Ankle surgery. He ran an independent Foot & Ankle unit at Kings College Hospital, London for 4 years and thereafter took the challenge to set up a similar one at the Hinchingbrooke Hospital. He was appointed at the Hinchingbrooke NHS Trust in 2005.

Mr Rajan teaches at the Royal College of Surgeons and also at other teaching programs. He is a member of the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (AOFAS) and the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society(BOFAS). He has published numerous papers. Mr Rajan was the clinical tutor for Trauma & Orthopaedics at the Hinchingbrooke hospital for 5 years and is also a review editor of Foot & Ankle International, an International Journal specialising in the management of Foot and Ankle disorders. He has wide experience of managing patients with Foot and Ankle disorders.

Mr Daniel Rajan has an interest in various aspects of diagnosis and treatment of multiple foot and ankle conditions. He has also been Review Editor for the Foot and Ankle International Journal (Peer review Journal) since 2004.
