Dr David Cremonesini trained at Oxford University and London before doing his paediatric training in Oxford region. He’s been a Consultant for over 8 years and is soon to complete his MSc in allergy. He sees children with all paediatric conditions but specialises in allergy and breathing problems.
Dr David currently works at Hinchingbrooke Hospital where he is a consultant seeing allergy patients including those with food allergy, asthma and eczema. In the past he has been Clinical Governance Lead and has had regular appraisals showing great feedback from colleagues and patients. He is well trained in skin prick testing and keeps up to date attending allergy conferences every year.
Dr David was involved in a large national study looking at asthma deaths in 2014 and feels education around asthma so important. Children with allergy often have more than one problem and he offers a one-stop clinic where testing and advice can be given on one visit. He can offer dietary advice and works closely with excellent private dietician based in Bedford.
Dr David has published several papers on asthma. He worked in Dubai on a sabbatical where he established an allergy service and has also been a contributor for www.netmums.com in the past.
He is an active member for his Royal College and regularly examines trainee doctors before they become consultants.
