Mr David Gidden was appointed Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Northampton General Hospital starting the 1st January 2001. He trained in Scotland and then the North West Manchester Orthopaedic Rotation and spent eighteen months at Wrightington Hospital undertaking a Fellowship in upper limb and shoulder surgery.
He was appointed Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon at Northampton General Hospital on 1st January 2001 and was Clinical Director of the Department of Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery for four and a half years between November 2003 until February 2008. In addition to general orthopaedics and trauma Mr Gidden has a particular interest in upper limb surgery particularly the wrist and shoulder.
