Personal Profile

Mr Clark is a Consultant Orthopaedic Hand & Wrist Surgeon who can see patients at Goring Hall Hospital for conditions such as carpel tunnel syndrome, trigger finger release, fractures of the hand and issues with tendons and ligaments in the hand and wrist.

Mr Clark is highly experienced and qualified at St Bartholomew’s Hospital in 1990. His Orthopaedic training was with the North West Thames Orthopaedic Programme and included jobs at the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital and Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore. 

Mr Clarks interests are in the management of Orthopaedic Hand Pathology. He spent two years training in hand and wrist surgery including a fellowship in Toronto, Canada.  Mr Clark became a Consultant at Worthing & Southlands NHS Trust in August 2003 for all aspects of hand and wrist.

Mr Clark is a member of the British Hand Society. He is also the Chair of the instructor committee for The British Society for Surgeons of the Hand (BSSH) where he also teaches the next generation of hand surgeons through instructional courses. 

Mr Clark also supports the Goring Hall senior management team as the Clinical Chair as well as the chair of the hospital’s Medical Advisory Committee (MAC). The main responsibilities include providing leadership and working with the hospitals Executive Director, Director of Clinical services and MAC members to promote safety, quality and continuous improvement. As Clinical Chair Mr Clark is responsible for ensuring the development and operation of robust systems of clinical governance and overseeing medical performance and the application of medical professional standards at the hospital.
