Personal Profile
Dr David Rae is a senior and experienced Consultant Gynaecologist working within the West of Scotland. He graduated from Aberdeen University with a first class honours in Medicine and undertook his initial training in Aberdeen. His formative training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology was in the West of Scotland.
Dr Rae took up a consultant post in NHS Ayrshire and Arran in 2003. Within his local service he has had a number of key roles including Clinical Director for Gynaecology and Sexual Health from 2011-2017. Dr Rae also continues to have an active role as an educational supervisor and preceptor for advanced surgical training in gynaecology.
