Personal profile

Mr David Rose is a Gynaecology Consultant at Croydon University Hospital, where he is lead for Outpatient Hysteroscopy and local gynaecological procedures. He received his gynaecology training in Cambridge and London. He has received RCOG accreditation in managing infertility, early pregnancy and performing gynaecology scans. He has worked in various hospitals in the UK and internationally.

He performs a wide range of gynaecological surgery and procedures. Most of these are done as outpatient procedures under local anaesthetics which ensures patients spend less time as in hospital and benefit from a speedy recovery. Mr Rose has an interest in teaching medical students and training junior doctors. He offers a weekly lecture to students and is a recognised trainer in hysteroscopy and gynaecological scanning.

His approach to gynaecology is to provide a patient-centred individualised care to all women. He lives locally with his family and enjoys swimming, playing his keyboard and doing DIY (badly).
