Over the last 20 years Dr Dev Shah has developed a strong clinical background in dermatology and in particular dermatological surgery and Mohs. He is currently a Consultant Dermatologist and Cutaneous Surgeon at Amersham NHS Hospital. He also previously worked at University College London Hospitals Trust and Hillingdon Hospital.

Dr Shah manages tertiary dermatology referrals for skin cancer, whilst maintaining his core medical dermatology knowledge. He also chairs the local skin cancer multi-disciplinary meetings and is the Lead for Skin Surgery at Amersham Hospital. He is currently working with Cardiff University Microneedle Team to develop the role of microneedles for skin disease. He will be involved in preliminary proof of concept studies in the near future. He aims to continue his collaboration with the micro needle team in order to progress this work towards a clinical trial.

Dr Shah is involved with the executive committee for the British Association of Dermatological Surgery and helps to direct skin surgery, especially skin cancer services, both at a local and national level for the benefit of all patients.

To maintain safety and quality he has setup a private Skin Cancer MDT at Bishops Wood Hospital involving all relevant surgical and medical disciplines.
He will give you the time and space to relay your concerns and ask questions, whilst providing compassionate and tailored treatment for you as an individual.
