Dr Dimitri Leschinskiy completed his basic anaesthetic rotation in the North East Thames region and training in pain medicine at the Basildon Hospital.
He took up the post of Consultant in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in 2004. He provides a comprehensive treatment to patients with back pain and sciatica, neck pain, chronic pain after surgery, ‘nerve pain’, pelvic pain and all other chronic pain conditions. Treatments include steroid injections, radiofrequency denervation and medications. He also works in close collaboration with palliative care team providing treatment for cancer patients with intractable pain who need nerve destructive procedures.
Dimitri is actively involved in teaching, being responsible for the training and assessment of junior anaesthetists.
